Overview

Musculoskeletal disorders are highly prevalent in dentistry, with the majority of clinicians experiencing pain as a result of repetitive motion, sustained postures, and suboptimal operatory positioning. This course explores the foundational principles of ergonomics and how they apply directly to clinical practice. Participants will examine common risk factors contributing to strain, including forward head posture, shoulder elevation, static positioning, and excessive grip.
