David Ojeda Diaz, DDS

David Ojeda Diaz, DDS, earned his dental degree from Santa Maria University in Caracas, Venezuela, followed by residency training in oral medicine and dentoalveolar surgery at Xaverian University in Bogotá, Colombia. He completed advanced training in oral medicine and orofacial pain at New York University College of Dentistry and an oral medicine residency at the University of Pennsylvania in 2017. Dr. Ojeda joined the Oral Medicine and Oral Oncology Department at Miami Cancer Institute, Baptist Health South Florida in 2025, where he practices the full scope of oral medicine, including outpatient and inpatient oral oncology, management of oral mucosal and salivary gland disorders, and orofacial pain.

Previously, he served for eight years as associate professor at UT Health San Antonio School of Dentistry and physician in the Department of Hospital Dentistry at University Health System. He is a diplomate of the American Board of Oral Medicine and an active member of the American Academy of Oral Medicine.
