Dawne Stefanik , DDS, MA, FACD
Dr. Dawne Stefanik is an Associate Professor - Clinical at The Ohio State University College of Dentistry in the Division of Restorative and Prosthetic Dentistry. She earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from The Ohio State University and later completed a Master of Arts in Bioethics through the Center for Bioethics in the College of Medicine at The Ohio State University. This interdisciplinary training informs her approach to teaching, with an emphasis on ethical decision-making and professionalism in clinical practice. She is also a Fellow of the American College of Dentists, reflecting her commitment to professionalism, leadership, and ethics in dentistry. Her research and scholarly interests include behavioral sciences, the integration of artificial intelligence in dental education, and ethical decision-making. Through her work as an educator, she is dedicated to creating engaging, clinically relevant learning experiences that prepare students to navigate the evolving landscape of dental practice with both technical competence and ethical integrity.
