Malgorzata Klukowska

Dr. Malgorzata Klukowska received her DDS degree and certifications from Warsaw Medical University in Warsaw Poland in 1999. Through 2002 Dr. Klukowska was an instructor at the Warsaw Medical University in the Department of Conservative Dentistry working under the direction of Professor Maria Wierzbicka. In 2002 Dr. Klukowska received a scholarship from the International Association for Dental Research and moved to Johannes Gutenberg University in Mainz Germany to the Applied Structure and Microanalysis Institute under the direction of Professor Dr. Heinz Duschner. She was also working in the Department for Oral Surgery under the direction of Professor Bernd d'Hoedt. While at Mainz, Dr. Klukowska received her PhD. Her thesis work entitled "Bleaching Effects on ì Raman Spectroscopic Properties and Autofluorescence of Tooth Tissue" included the demonstration of patterns of bleach effects on fluorescence properties of hard tissues which helps define where and how vital bleaching occurs in teeth. In 2005 Dr. Klukowska joined the Procter and Gamble Company in Cincinnati, Ohio USA as a Research Scientist in Oral Care Technology and she currently works jointly in the pre-clinical Oral Biology and Clinical Research Departments.
