Bonnie Branson, RDH, PhD, is currently a professor in the Department of Dental Public Health and Behavioral Science at the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Dentistry. She has worked to establish community-based dental homes in a variety of settings, including long term care facilities and public schools. Her current teaching and research interests include service learning, program implementation/evaluation and access to care issues. She teaches public health courses and coordinates service learning activities for the dental and dental hygiene students at UMKC School of Dentistry. She has a doctorate in education and holds a certificate in public health from the University of Iowa.
