Clinical Appearance

Carcinoma of the mouth presents in one of four forms (Figures 2, 3, 4):

  1. White lesion (leukoplakia)

  2. Red lesion (erythroplakia)

  3. Red and white lesion (erythroleukoplakia)

  4. Non-healing ulcer
